Plan on spending some time in Hawaii this summer? On top of the sand and sun, Hawaii hosts several notable festivals during this time of year.
From a beer fest to raise money for charity to celebrations of Hawaiian culture, there is something for everyone.
If you're in Hawaii in June or July, check out one or more of these great festivals:
1. Doghouse Beer Fest
When: June 24

The 2017 Doghouse Beer Fest features local entertainment, snacks, and Hawaiian beer. This is an adults-only festival and the proceeds will be split between Kauai Humane Society and Junior Achievement of Hawaii.
2. Moiliili Summer Fest
When: July 1
Where: Moiliili Hongwanji Mission
This year will be the sixth annual Moiliili Summer Fest, a large event in a popular Honolulu neighborhood. The festival features the largest Japanese Bon Dance of the season, delicious foods, and a great selection of local retailers and artisans.
3. 40th Prince Lot Hula Festival
