New Airline Offers Discounted Canadian Flights

New LeafTravel is a new airline set to take off in February and is promising to offer low-cost flights to travelers. Travellers will find that the new airline offers flights priced from $89 - $149, which includes all taxes and fees!

The new airline will be begin making trips February 12th, with flights running out of airports in Nova Scotia, Ontario, B.C., Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The airline will operate flights out of the following cities:

  • Halifax, N.S.
  • Hamilton, Ont.
  • Winnipeg, Man.
  • Regina, Sask.
  • Saskatoon, Sask.
  • Abbotsford, B.C.
  • Kelowna, B.C.

The cheapest of the flights, at just $89 will transport passengers to Kelowna, Regina, Saskatoon and Abbotsford, while the most expensive flight is a $149 ticket to travel from Hamilton to Kelowna.

It’s important to note that while the airline offers flight prices inclusive of all taxes and fees, travelers will be responsible for the fee of carrying on a bag, seat selection, and in-flight snacks.

With the addition of the new discounted Canadian airline, this may spark some competition with other main air carriers likeWest Jetand CanJet. West Jetissued a statement saying it has been “Canada’s low fare leader” since launching 20 years ago and “will vigorously defend this position in the market,” whileCan Jetnotes that they “welcome the competition.”
